My name is Jean Ruimy. I’m a Financial Advisor, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® (CRPC®), and Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor℠ (APMA®) with Dax Wealth Management Group, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC.

I am trained in collaborative divorce and have completed at least 40-hours of formal family & divorce mediation training.

I understand that divorce is extremely challenging - emotionally and financially. I divorced in 2018 and in the last 19 years, as a Financial Planner with Ameriprise Financial, I have helped support countless clients as they divorced. As a mother, I also understand the difficulties of divorce on children and the importance of how we navigate the restructuring of our families into two homes.

My experience, personally and professionally, is the reason I decided to specialize in divorce planning. My objective is to help clients understand their situation & options, to make educated/less emotional decisions, and for my clients to have clarity & confidence in their settlement agreements.

I primarily work with couples as a neutral financial analyst & educator OR with the spouse that has less financial experience and needs a patient, caring advisor that can help them understand their current financials, provide education, explore options, and give them a better understanding of how financials look in the long-term.
