Prior to becoming a collaborative lawyer and mediator, Leslie was a jazz singer for many years. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she also lived in New York City, Japan and Hawaii. Her life experience gives her helpful insight and makes her approachable.

Leslie earned her B.A. in 1998 and J.D. in 2001, both at the University of Southern California. She was admitted into the State Bar of California in 2001 and has been practicing family law since, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support and community property issues. Leslie has attended numerous formal trainings in mediation and collaborative divorce. Through these processes, she empowers parties to creatively resolve their concerns with integrity to promote a successful future for their families without a court appearance.
